BAKED SWEET POTATO FRIES
Ingredients
 
1-1/2 lb
sweet potato 750 g
2 tbsp
olive or vegetable oil 30 mL
1/4 tsp
each dried thyme and sage leaves 1 mL
1/4 tsp
garlic powder 1 mL
  
salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Preheat the oven to 425ºF (220ºC). Peel sweet potato and cut into 1/2-inch (1 cm) thick sticks. Toss with oil, thyme, sage, garlic powder, salt and pepper.  Spread in a single layer on a large non-stick baking sheet. Bake until sweet potatoes are tender and golden browned, from 25 to 30 minutes. Turn halfway through baking.

Serve with Janes Multigrain Haddock for a delicious, nutritious meal.
